Mildred Staples, 87, of Silver Lake, died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at her home.
Mildred was married to Harry H. Staples for over sixty years.
Survivors include her husband, Harry, daughter, Marcia Staples, nieces, Charla Blankenship, Sharon Sundwall, and a nephew, Michael Staples.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Beulah Staples, and two brothers, Charles and George Staples.
A memorial service for Mrs. Staples will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Silver Lake United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to Silver Lake United Methodist Church, 204 Madore, P.O. Box 188, Silver Lake, KS 66539.
