Mildred Ruth Hamilton, 95, of Topeka, passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Brewster Place Retirement Community in Topeka.
She was born July 4, 1910 in Simonton, TX the daughter of Charles H. and Ethel Knight Petty.
Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she had served on the Board of Trustees. She was also a member of Chapter FI of the PEO Sisterhood and Stormont-Vail Hospital Auxiliary.
She married William L. Hamilton, February 4, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1980. Survivors include: two daughters, Judy Brownell and her husband Stephen of Los Alamos, NM; Linda Hamilton, Ft. Myers, FL; her brother, Max Petty, Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
