Michael W. Brown

Michael W. Brown, 62, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2015 at his home. He was born March 11, 1953 in Emporia, KS, the son of Francis and Betty Chapman Brown. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1971.

Michael was employed by Roach True Value Hardware Store located at SW 21st & Washburn for over 30 years. He was an avid Harley rider and a member of BACA.

Michael married Nikki Peters. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Barber. Survivors include two children, Maxx (Clinese) Brown and Zoe Brown both of Topeka, one granddaughter, Lily Brown and one sister, Phyllis Wilkes of Topeka.

The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
