Michael Eugene Stanley, 63, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023.
He was born March 1, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Jack and Carolyn (Andres) Stanley. He attended Highland Park High School.
Michael was employed by Raintree Apartments as a Maintenance Technician for over 20 years.
He was an outdoorsman and spent countless hours enjoying nature. He also enjoyed working and restoring old cars. Michael also liked using his metal detector to find new treasures. Michael and his daughter would often go to flea markets together when she was growing up.
Survivors include his daughter, Treston Stanley; his siblings, Carey Dennis, David Macklin, Terry Stanley, Leona (Michael) Legg, Lori Knudsen and Julie Stanley; his grandchildren, Landen Michael Stanley and Maliyah Maire Brown; nieces, Amber Stanley, Jamie Arreguin, Rachel Dennis, Addison (Addie) Legg and Kelsey Stanley; and one nephew, Christopher Dennis. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Stanley; grandparents, Roy Casper-Andres and Bertha May Andres; step-father, Robert Dennis and cousin, Ron Tyner.
He will be laid to rest at Rochester Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made in the care of Penwell Gabel Funeral Home to help the family with unexpected funeral expenses.
