Michael Schrooten, 61, passed away suddenly after a heart attack on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
Michael was born on March 23, 1956, in Topeka, KS, to Floyd Schrooten, Jr. and Beverly (Newsome) Schrooten. He graduated from Emporia High School in 1974. After high school, he went to work as a laborer at Boeing in Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Michael is survived by his sister, Debbie Ernst of American Falls, ID; and two brothers, Brian Schrooten of Emporia, KS and Kevin Schrooten of Batesville, AR.
