Michael Pennington, 49, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022.
He was born December 7, 1973, in Enterprise, Alabama, the son of Richard Ernest and Susan Diane (Fowler) Pennington.
Michael married Sandy I. Parks on September 1, 2017 on top of Pike's Peak, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Pennington Sr., Father, and Susan Fowler, mother. His uncle Steve Pennington and both grandparents.
Survivors include his wife; Sandy of the home, a sister, Vicky (Gary) Necessary, a brother, Richard Pennington Jr., And an ex-wife, Kristine Wood. Son, Collin Butter (Rowland Alexander). Daughters, Michaela Pennington, Brigette Pennington, Hailey Pennington and Gabriella Etman. Son, Elvis (Destiny) Butter. And many loved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Michael enjoyed fishing, being at the YMCA, cooking, smoking meats, and feeding his friends.
As per his wishes Michael has been cremated. A memorial ceremony will
be held at the YMCA at 37th and Chelsea, at 4pm on Tuesday January 10th.
