Mike married Janet Morlan in 1982. She survives. Other survivors include his son, Shawn Unrein and a granddaughter; his father, Michael J. Unrein, Jr. and his sister.
Mr. Unrein was cremated. No services are planned at this time. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael Unrein, III, Grandchildren's Education Fund, sent in care of CoreFirst Bank.
