Merna Lee Bishop, 85, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
She was born June 7, 1934, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Hugh and Martha (Tripp) Colhouer. She received a High School education.
Merna completed her lifelong dream of becoming a hairdresser in 1983 and later owned a beauty shop in Foyil, Oklahoma.
Merna married Herbert Bishop on February 26, 1985 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a Daughter, Diana (Robert) Morgan; Twin Sister, Mary Jo Ketterman; Sister, Lynn Marie Colhouer; Sons, Allen Lee Bishop, Rick Jay Bishop; Grandsons, Corey Keller, Nick Keller, and Trey Morgan; Granddaughter, Mistie Huber; and Step- Granddaughter , Kari Struemph. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; Sisters, Leslie Hoffman, Margaret Christian, and Louise Colhouer; and Brother-In- Law, Charles Jr. Ketterman.
