Merle F. Schreiber, 77, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013.
Merle was born April 8, 1936, at Alma, KS, son of William and Eda Schreiber. He attended a rural school near Alma and graduated from Lyndon High School. Merle honorably served in the US Navy.
Merle is survived by his sister, Jane Stresewski, Olathe, brother, Ivan Schreiber, La Jolla, California, sister-in-law, Peggy Schreiber, Lawrence, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ben Schreiber.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka.
Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Alma Cemetery, Alma, KS.
