Merle Edwin Ramseier
October 18, 1944 — April 11, 2015
Merle E. Ramseier, 70, passed away April 11, 2015, at Midland Care. He was born October 18, 1944. He worked as a store manager in several tire stores, ending his career at Kansas Tire & Auto.
Merle is survives by his wife, Sheila; son, Brendon (Lora) Ramseier and daughters, Mackenzie and Morgan; son, Eric (Sarah Townsend) Ramseier and son, Michael Ramseier; sisters, Patricia (Don) Lober and Sandra Wade; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ila and Edwin Ramseier; and brother, Kenny Ramseier.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the fourth floor staff and Palliative Care of Stormont-Vail and Midland Care for their support in his final days.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel in Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends memorial contributions to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
