85, Topeka, died January 1, 2004 at Midland Hospice House. He was born June 6, 1918 in Dequeen, Arkansas the son of Charles William and Vida Hood Fabert. He Served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Melvin was married to Zazle Billings November 16, 1974 in Topeka, she survives. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, January 5, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date. Mr. Fabert will lie in state at the funeral home from noon Sunday until service time. A visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM that evening.
