Maya Brown, 44, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on September 17, 2023 at Ascension Vis Christi Hospital.
She was born on April 13, 1979, to Raymond Beard and Belinda Marie Lewis in Topeka, KS.
Maya worked as a CMA for Evergreen Nursing home.
On 18 March 2000, she married Otis Brown. Maya and Otis lived in, Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was a member of the Temple of Peace Church of God in Christ.
Maya is survived by her husband; Otis Brown, children; Solomon and Selena Brown, brother; Jason Wright; Godmother, Wanetta Bean.
She was preceded in death by her Father; Raymond Beard, Mother; Belinda Lewis, Brother; Ebben Wright, Grandmother; Wanda Bean, Beverly Lewis, Sharon Beard, Grandfather; James Rollen Lewis.
Funeral services will be 12:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Open Arms Outreach Church, 2401 SE 11th St, Topeka, KS 66607, with visitation beginning an hour prior to service time.
Interment will take place at another date at Veterans State Cemetery, Little Rock, Arkansas.
