Mason Thomas Mercer, 21, Topeka, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.
He was born October 22, 1996, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Jason and Rachel (Blankenship) Mercer. He graduated from Shawnee Heights High School.
Mason participated with AIS Services.
He is lovingly survived by his parents; two brothers, Ryan (Josie) Blankenship and Doug (Danae) Mercer; two nephews, Jaxon and Cade Blankenship. Other survivors grandparents, Amy Naylor, Rhonda Mercer and Mark (Annie) Mercer; aunts and uncles, Megan Mercer, Jason Blankenship, Jeff (Crystal) Blankenship, Jamie (Caitlyn) Blankenship, Jirad (Whitney) Blankenship and Tara Ehalt and numerous cousins.
Mason was full of life and always had a smile on his face. He did not know a stranger and everyone who met him became an instant friend. He loved Transformers, Wii, Xbox, going to the movies, taking photos and looking at them, watching YouTube and loved his Coke.
A celebration of Mason's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Fellowship Bible Church. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
