Mary Elizabeth Thompson, age 97, of Manhattan, Kansas passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. She was born in Independence, Missouri in 1925 to Adam and Lennie (Myrtle) Etzel. Mary would go on to graduate from Topeka High School. In 1943, she married her late husband, Emery. They shared 59 years together before his passing in 2003.
Mary is survived by her Son, James Thompson of Lake Elsinore, California & Daughter, Sharon Crouch of Topeka, Kansas.
She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka.
