Mary Louise Miller

Louise Miller, 96 of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Brewster Place.

She was born September 1, 1911 to E. Perry and Ruth Daniels of Topeka.

She graduated from Topeka High School in 1929 and attended Washburn College for one year.

She married Ronald L. Miller in 1935. Sons Pat Miller of Prairie Village, KS and Mike and Shirley Miller of Bonner Springs, KS survive her. She is also survived by 4 grandsons, a granddaughter and 11 great grandchildren.

Louise was a life long member of the First Congregational Church.

Mrs. Miller worked for the Kansas Dept. of Revenue for 10 years before retiring in 1972. She had a doll clothes & sewing business while her sons were in school. She and her husband moved to Brewster Place in 1991.

She is preceded in death by her husband, two brothers Richard P. Daniels of Columbus, OH, George Daniels of Santa Clara, CA and a grandson, Craig Perry Miller.

Mrs. Miller will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at First Congregational Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that donations be made to First Congregational Church, 1701 S. W.
