Mary L. Stratton, 87, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010.
Mary was born September 3, 1922 in Topeka, the daughter of William and Eunice (Jennings)
Grecian. She grew up in Salina and graduated from Salina High School.
She was a homemaker and member of Angel Collectors Club of America.
Mary married Alec Hunter Stratton in 1940. He died in 1986. Survivors include daughters, Judy (Charles) Gatewood, Topeka, Janet (John) Schafer, Soldier, Justine (Sam) Imler, Topeka; son, James Stratton, Topeka; grandchildren, Lori Murphy, Chuck Gatewood, John, Gary, Adam and Mixie Schafer, Jessica Dennon, Donald Driver, Scott Imler; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jon Stratton.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
