Mary Elizabeth Ratcliff Heiberger, 88, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Midland Hospice House.
Mary was born May 30, 1923 in Junction City, the daughter of Harrison C. and Elizabeth (White) Ratcliff.
She graduated from Chapman High School and attended Clark's Business School. She had been employed at Adams Business Forms.
She was a member of University United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary Capital Post #1, and volunteered at Midland Hospice since 1996.
Mary married Wilbert "Red" Heiberger on January 22, 1970 in Topeka. He died January 2, 1996. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bessie E. Uhl.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at University United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mary will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 2:00 p.m. today and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
