Mary Hatke

Mary Chaney Hatke, 91, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on January 21, 1918 in Topeka, the daughter of Walter T. and Audrey McMillen Chaney. She married Roy E. Hatke on October 15, 1946 in Washington, D.C. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2002. Surviving are one son, Walter Hatke of Schenectady, N.Y. and two grandsons. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Hatke will lie in state on Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
