Mary Frances Bezingue, 89, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Brewster Place in Topeka. She was born on February 27, 1919 in Topeka, the daughter of Ernest N. and Myrtle E. Beasore Casebier. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1936. She had resided in Chicago and Topeka for most of her life. Mary was employed by KPL for several years. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, honorary member of Beulah Chapter No. 34 O.E.S. where she served as a past officer and Ancient Toltec Rite No. 1. Mary married Clifford F. Bezingue on September 3, 1940 in Towanda, KS. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1993. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Casebier and Harlan Casebier and one sister, Phyllis Glover. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Tillie M. Lawter, two nieces, Roberta Oestreich, Mary Lou McKee, five nephews, Steven Charles Glover, Scott Casebier, William C. Lawter, Jr., James R. Lawter and Robert V. Blaine. Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum.
