Mary Faye Vaughn

Mary Faye Vaughn, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at her home.

She was born January 11, 1943 at Christ Hospital in Topeka, the daughter of C.G. and Elba Dunn Mathers. She was a 1961 graduate of Topeka High School and retired from Stormont-Vail Hospital.

Mary was married to Marvin Vaughn; he preceded her in death on January 19, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna Jungmann and brother, Donald Mathers.

Mary is survived by her son, Jeff Vaughn of Overland Park; daughter, Dr. Vikki Noonan (Sean) of Boston, MA; grandsons, Baker and Samuel Noonan of Boston, MA as well as many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 19 at Highland Heights Christian Church, 2930 SE Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, KS. A private burial of cremated remains will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle Topeka, KS 66606 or to Highland Heights Christian Church.
