Mary Angie Puckkee Earwood, 71, of Topeka, passed away Friday, April 22 at a local hospital.
She was born January 10, 1934 in Mayetta, the daughter of Jim Puckkee and Margaret Wabski.
She worked at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center as a medical equipment technician, retiring after many years of service.
She was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
She was preceded in death a daughter, Gayle Puckee in 2000; three brothers, Theodore Puckkee, Chris Puckkee and Algernon Jessepe; and one sister, Stephanie Sullivan.
Survivors includea daughter, Barbara Guerrero of Topeka, two sons; Jim Puckkee and Robert Earwood, both of Topeka; a brother, Melvin Jessepe, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Earwood will lie in state after 2:00 pm Monday, April 25 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where a rosary will be recited beginning at 7:00 pm with visitation to follow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, April 26 at Assumption Catholic Church with burial to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
