Mary Elizabeth Howell, 93, Topeka, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born February 7, 1913 in Bloomington, Indiana.
Mary was a manager of a coin operated laundry service from 1955 to 1980. She attended Country Acres Harvest Church.
She married William T. Howell on April 15, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He died October 22, 1966.
Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia L. Howell Doll; four sons, Larry T. Howell, William R. Howell, Robert G. Howell and Terry L. Howell.
Survivors include three sons; John W. Howell, Louisville, KY, James P. Howell, Salem, IN, Richard F. Howell, Topeka; 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be anounced at a later date with inurnment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary E. Howell Memorial Fund, C/O Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th, Topeka, Kansas, or Midland Hospice Care Inc., 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
