Mary Blackmore, 83, of Topeka, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
Mary was born on September 13, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Gregory and Mary (Woods) Herndon. She graduated from Fayette High School in Fayette, MO.
She was married to Charles F. Clark on April 13, 1951. She was later married to James F. Blackmore in May of 1973; he preceded her in death on January 1, 1979.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Linda Clark of Topeka and Beverly Clark of Addison, TX; by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by one son, Jerry Clark , and by one grandson, Scott Gomel.
Mary's wishes were to be cremated and her remains will be inurned at a later date at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery.
