Mary Beth (Nash) Bero, 80, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019.
She was born January 18, 1939, in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Edwin and Antionette (Grenrood) Nash. She received a High School Diploma from Ball High.
She was the Administrative Secretary for the School of Law at Washburn University.
She was an Episcopalian who was strong in her faith. She loved going to the beach and cruising to the Caribbean and Hawaii with her husband. She had a love for shopping especially when it came to shoes. She loved to exercise and above all else, spending time with family.
Mary Beth Nash married Hubert R. Bero on January 18, 1957 in Galveston, Texas, he survives. Other survivors include daughters, Jannett Wiens and Lynn Ann (Robert James) Franco; brother, Eddie (Mana) Nash; grandchildren, Ashley Franco, Jason (Annelise) Wiens, and Christopher (Madeline Fry) Wiens; great-grandchildren, Jubilee and Ettie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka. The family will greet friends and hour prior. Private entombment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Delta Theta Chi Sorority Scholarship Fund or to Washburn University Alumni Association and Foundation (in memo) School of Law, Mary Beth Bero Memorial.
