Marvin "Chuck" Ossman, 55, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 19, 2004 at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1949 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Marvin G. and Ruth E. Ossman. Chuck attended Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. Chuck served faithfully in keeping the economy rolling by being a dedicated, professional over the road truck driver for the past 35 years. He loved his family and leaves to cherish his memory wife Teresa, four children; Timothy C. Ossman; Stacy E. Salters and her husband, Barrie; Dawn M. Platt and her husband Chester "Bill"; Stacey L. Ossman and her husband, Scott Marney; and a sister Sharon Norris and her husband, William "Bill"; 4 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and numerous relatives. The family thanks all of the families and friends who had Chuck in their thoughts and prayers. He had great love for his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Ossman will lie in state after Noon Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening.
