Marvin G. Marshall, 77, Lenexa, formerly of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Delmar Gardens in Lenexa after an extended illness.
Born June 26, 1930 in Alliance, Ohio. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad in 1989 after 33 years of service. Mr. Marshall was an Army veteran and member of VFW Post #1650 and American Legion Post #1 of Topeka.
He married Virginia Marshall on November 29, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives. Other survivors include children; Amy Dillon and husband, Randy, Lenexa; Chris Marshall and wife, Tess, Waldorf, Maryland; 5 grandchildren, Caitlin and Jordan Dillon, Marisa, Ashtin and Hannah Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Melvin and one sister, Glenda Worley.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2007 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
