Marvin Daryl Bean died Friday, January 28, 2022, surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was born on March 18, 1936, the son of Lela Grace (Manley) Bean and Edward Gilbert Bean.
He was a graduate of Washburn University, a Marine Corps veteran and retired from the Topeka Water Division.
He married Sharon (Mize) Johnson, they divorced.
He married Allison McClure.
Preceding him in death were sisters Viola Dill, Delores Butler, Alice Heald, Mamie Lacey, his wife Allison, daughters, Ceciley Anne Bean and Lesley Ellen Bean.
Survivors include daughters, Faye Bean of Topeka, Fran Euwer of Hoyt and Emiley Slebrch of Centreville, Virginia, sixteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and special friends Daneva Coker and Cynthia Waterman of Big Springs, Kansas.
At his request, he was cremated and no services will be held.
