Martha L. Eson, 92, of Topeka, died Saturday, August 21st, 2004. Born in Kingman, she worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 28 years. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert F. Eson. She is survived by two nephews, Robert F. Eson Jr. and Stephen F. Eson; a niece, Audria E. Battoglia; two cousins, Mary Curry Cohoon and Coke Harlow; and her longtime friend, Virginia Shields. Memorial Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. David's Episcopal Church, S.W. 17th Street and Gage Blvd., in Topeka. Graveside interment service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Kingman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to St. David's Church.
