Martha J. Ross, 85, Silver Lake, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015.
She was born November 26, 1929, in Washington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Ward and Leah (Crawford) Miller.
Martha was a waitress for various Mexican restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona and later owned and operated Marty's Café in Wichita.
Martha married Delbert C. Ross on October 13, 1982 in Cheyenne Well, Colorado. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1989. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Henry, James and Leona and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Michale and Charles Blaine.
She is survived by a daughter, Doris J. Davies, Silver Lake; two granddaughters, Theresa (Charles) Buchheit, Branson, MO and Rose (Jeff) Phelps, Bates City, MO; three great-great grandchildren, Terri, Caleb and Kati Buchheit; two great-great grandchildren, Rivr and Feenix and four siblings, Edna Mae, Robert, Leroy and Charles.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
