Martha B. Crider, 103, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at a local care home.
She was born May 29,1902,in Dover, the daughter of Abram L. and Mary B. Hein Long.
Martha worked for the L.F. Garlinghouse Company for 53 years, retiring in 1974.
She married Adam W.Crider on June 30, 1938. He died in 1958. Survivors include a niece Martha Smoker and her husband, Robert, of Tecumseh, and many other nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by a brother, George Thompson and a sister, Sarah Langley; two nephews, George Langley and Paul Langley, Sr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Crider will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after noon on Friday and visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Keene Cemetery.
