Marlin Mccabe

Marlin E. McCabe, 86, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Midland Hospice House.

Marlin was born November 9, 1921 in Corning, the son of Harry and Ethel (Tietz) McCabe.

He worked for Jayhawk Lumber and Capital Concrete for many years, retiring in 1973.

Marlin married Sandra Mustoe on June 13, 1957. She survives of the home. Other survivors include sons; Greg McCabe, Lawrence, Marc McCabe, Hong Kong, David McCabe, Portland, OR; daughters, Susan Kietzman, Topeka, Marla Slawson, Scranton, Charlotte McCabe-Tetuan, Topeka, Danielle McCabe, Topeka; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; brothers, Charles McCabe, Topeka, and Mac McCabe, Scottsdale, AZ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry McCabe Jr., and sister, Lois Christman.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in the Corning City Cemetery. Marlin will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
