Marlin David Blosser, 43, the light of our lives, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, October 13, 2006.
Marlin was born December 14, 1962 in Topeka, the son of Marshall and Mary (Denton) Blosser.
Marlin was quick with a smile, fast with a handshake, and always there to open the door for others. He was a gentleman and will be missed by everyone who met him.
Marlin's passion was his family, which included his ten nieces and nephews, whom he lovingly called "the Munsters." Marlin loved winning dime bets on football and basketball, and especially the color purple for K-State. He also loved movies with his dad, bowling, church services, summer camp, Special Olympics, and weekends at his Mom and Dad's.
Marlin had a great sense of humor. Even with a handicap of his own, Marlin was always ready to help out others. Marlin lived his life to his fullest potential and inspired others to live with compassion and patience.
A graduate of Topeka High School, Marlin was a resident of Sheltered Living and employed by TARC Industries.
Marlin is survived by his parents, Marshall and Mary Blosser of Topeka, Kansas; sisters, Marsha Bidgood and her husband Jim, of Atlanta, Georgia; Marilyn Busboom and her husband Bob of St. Louis, Missouri; brother Mark Blosser and wife Sheri of Fort Collins, Colorado; and his loving dog, Maggie.
Marlin's family will miss him greatly but will cherish the precious memories. Marlin has enriched their lives and was a bright ray of sunshine.
