Marlene Fusaro

Marlene Marie Fusaro, 67, of Topeka, passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at her home.

She was born September 8, 1934 at Gorham, Kansas the daughter of Richard and Mary (Hoff) Dreher. She attended Catholic Schools in Topeka and graduated from Hayden High School.

Mrs. Fusaro was employed as a office supervisor for the Kansas Insurance Department until her retirement February 18, 1991.

She is a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle #503. Mrs. Fusaro had been selected Cook of the Week twice by the Topeka Capitol Journal.

She married Richard A. Fusaro January 3, 1953 at Assumption Catholic Church, Topeka. He survives at the home. Other survivors include:

her mother, Mary Dreher Topeka, KS
one sister, Mary Jo Mohlman Bonner Springs, KS
four brothers, Richard R. Dreher Wamego, KS Larry Dreher Topeka, KS
Fred Dreher Tecumseh, KS Lyle Dreher Topeka, KS andsix grandchildren.

Cremation is planned. A memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2002 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Private family inurnment will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606 or to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 2700 SE Virginia, Topeka, Kansas 66605. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of cremation.
