Marjorie E. Pierce, 80, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at The Forum Health Care Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
She was born on November 30, 1923 in Clayton, MO to George D. and Olive Muriel Miller.
She married Virgil W. Pierce on June 6, 1943 at Sedgwick, KS. They made their home in Wichita, KS until moving to Topeka in 1960. Marjorie held several jobs and retired from The Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She lived in Topeka until she moved to an independent living center, The Forum, in Overland Park, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; two brothers; George Miller, Sedgwick, KS and Robert Miller, Wichita, KS
Survivors include: two sons, Dennis Pierce, Seattle, WA and Timothy Pierce, Olathe, KS; a brother, Gene Miller, Hutchinson, KS; two grandsons and one great grandson
Graveside Services will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements
