Marjorie Jean Muther, 90, of Topeka, died on December 4, 2015. She was born June 22, 1925, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd & Alice (Galligher) Tiffany.
Marjorie graduated from Topeka High School. She married Thomas Muther on July 2, 1948, who preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and loved to paint, garden, embroider, and be with her family.
She is survived by her sisters, Thelma (Don) Phillips and Maxine Soules of Paradise, California; brother, Floyd (Linda) Tiffany of Derby, Kansas; children, Thomas Muther, Jr. of Topeka; Kathie (Jack) Crispin, of Lincoln, Kansas; Barb (Mike) Haberkorn, of Topeka; John (Nancy) Muther, of Kechi, Kansas; and Julie (Don) Blackman, of Topeka; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Crispin (Andrew Schnepp), of Lansing, Michigan; Jessica Crispin, of Beacon, NY; Penelope Crispin, of New York; Melissa (John) McConeghey, of Wichita, Kansas; Michael (Mary) Haberkorn, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Katie Haberkorn, of Topeka; Kiersten (Brady) Rothrock, of Lawrence; Kelsey Muther, of Wichita, Kansas; and Corey (Kimberly) Muther, of Topeka; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care.
