Marion Robert Emmery

Marion Robert "Bob" Emmery, 68, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at his home. He was born on October 6, 1938 in Chicago, IL. the son of John and Etta Mae Parchman. He moved to Topeka in 1950. He attended Topeka public schools, graduating from Topeka High School. He was an Army veteran of ten years and served a tour during the Vietnam War. He lived and worked in Topeka throught his life. He was a member of Mount Carmal Missionary Baptist Church. Surviovrs include one son, Duane C. Emmery of Topeka, two daughters, Delores J. Williamston of Topeka and Fawn M. Chandler of Topeka, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family members of Topeka and Chicago. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16 in the chapel at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Heart of America Hospice, 3715 S.W. 29th St., Topeka, KS. 66614. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
