Marilyn Louise Peters, 81, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Midland Hospice. She was born on October 3, 1931 in Topeka, Kansas to William C. and Julia (O'Hurley) Hentzler.
Marilyn graduated from Highland Park High School in 1949. She attended Kansas State University and graduated from The University of Kansas in 1953. Shortly after college, she married Terry Jaquith, they later divorced. On June 5, 1969, she married Richard Peters. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2001. On June 25, 2005, she married George Bray. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was a teacher for the Seaman school district for 35 years. Marilyn was a member of First United Methodist Church. She loved to Golf (SCC), volunteered for the "Treasures of the Czar" and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Karen Jaquith Voth; two grandchildren, Michael Voth and Carolyn Voth, all of Park City, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son Steven Lee Jaquith and four brothers, William C., II, Robert, Herbert and Jack Hentzler.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 23 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, with visitation held an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
