Marilyn Kay McMulkin, 76, recently of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015.
She was born December 3, 1938, on the family farm southeast of Norton, Kansas, the daughter of Victor and Ruth (Sproul) McMulkin.
She was a graduate of Edmond High School and Washburn University.
Marilyn enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends and reading. She was a member of National Secretary Association, and was a secretary of the year while employed by the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. Marilyn was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church in Topeka.
Survivors include sisters, Betty (Ron) Frank and Dr. Cathy McMulkin; brother, Mike (Linda) McMulkin; sister-in-law, Virginia McMulkin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill McMulkin.
Marilyn was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at a later date in Norton, Kansas with family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Meals on Wheels.
