Marian R. Betsworth-Schwader

Marian R. "Tooty" Betsworth-Schwader, 92, passed away March 15, 2011, at York Square in Aldersgate Village. She was born September 22, 1918, in Topeka, Kansas.

Survivors include her son, Albert Betsworth; daughters, Janice K. Harper and Dolly Morgan; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are brother, Tommy Zart and sister, June Scofield. She was preceded in death by her children's father, Jim Betsworth; son, Jimmie Lee Betsworth; daughter, Lois M. Hinton; and husband Chester H. Schwader.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka. Marian will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to York Square of Aldersgate Village, Attn: Sandy Connor, 3220 SW Albright Dr., Topeka, Kansas 66614.
