Marian Maxine Davenport, 60, Topeka, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006. She was born Feb. 19, 1946 in Topeka, the daughter of Fred M. and Marian L. Ray. She was employed at The Pad south.
She is survived by seven children, Dennis, Sandy, Darren, Cheryl, Crystal Davenport, Sherie Mellott, and Tony Vines, all of Topeka; five brothers, Richard Myers of Las Vegas, NV, Gary, Michael, Kenny, and Steve Ray, all of Topeka; sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; six nieces, five nephews, six great-nephews, and three great-nieces, all in Topeka.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Maxine Davenport Memorial Fund, c/o Kansas Super Chief Credit Union.
