Marian Macdonald
Devoted wife, mother and sister, Marian Jean (Merchant) MacDonald. Born July 28, 1936 joined her husband, Duane C. MacDonald, parents, sister, brother and niece on Thursday, May 14, 2009 to be with our Lord.
She leaves behind and older sister, Alice Thacker, younger brother and sister, David and Mary Melcher, nieces and nephews, along with five children: LouJean Harmon, Duane C. MacDonald, Jr., Bill MacDonald, Rockie Chisesi and Michael MacDonald; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She will lie in state today after 2:00 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Services will be Monday at 11:00 at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS to help with funeral expenses.
