Marguerite Schneider

Marguerite Mae Schneider, 85, passed away on June 14th, 2009 at home. She was born in Herkimer, KS on May 10th, 1924 to Herman and Martha (Nieman) Frohberg. She attended the Lutheran School and graduated from Marysville High School in 1943. She worked on the family farm until 1947. On June 2nd, 1947, she was married to Garold A Schneider and they relocated to Topeka, KS. She is survived by her son Gerald L. (Carolyn) Schneider and a daughter, Betty Owensby. There are also four grandchildren, David (Christine) Schneider, Brett Schneider, Brian Owensby, and Kevin Owensby. She has one great-granddaughter, Emmeline K. Schneider. Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on June 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Marguerite will lie in state on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, 901 SW Fillmore, Topeka, KS, 66606.
