Margorie A. Barry, 81, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
She was born June 21, 1940, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Steve and Alora (Mills) Barron. She graduated from Alton High School in 1958.
Margorie was a bookkeeper for the Barry Law Firm for over thirty years.
She was a member of the St. David's Episcopal Church, of Topeka and volunteered as a court appointed special advocate with the Shawnee County CASA Organization.
Marge had a special love for the K-State Wildcats and really enjoyed football season. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially their trips to Marco Island, Florida. She was a regular at the Wood Valley exercise classes with her friends, enjoyed taking care of her home especially her swimming pool, and she loved taking trips to the beach.
Margorie married Donald D. Barry on March 26, 1960 in Alton, IL. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage together.
Survivors include her husband; son, Tony (Jana) Barry; grandchildren, Brogan Barry, Addison Barry and Misty Redd; siblings, Ron Barron and Norma Barron. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Angela Redd.
