Margery Palm, 90, of Topeka, passed away, Monday, December 31, 2007 at Plaza West Care Center.
She was born July 3, 1917 at Goff, Kansas the eldest daughter of Thomas Eugene and Mary Pretz Springer. Marge was a 1935 graduate of Goff High School.
Along with her husband, she was a longtime member of First Southern Baptist Church where she played piano for their Sunday school class.
Before meeting her husband Marge worked in child evangelism. In later years she worked as a clerk in the State of Kansas Insurance Commissioners Office, retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Palm married Martin Palm December 31, 1954 in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death December 15, 2007. She was also preceded in death by four brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Brading and her husband Terry, and a granddaughter all of Topeka. Other survivors include her brother, Rex Springer, Topeka; and two sisters, Maxine Watkins, Holton, KS; Lucille Kaul, Georgia.
She will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Penwell-GabelCemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Radio Bible Class Ministries, P.O.
