Margaret Christensen Sloath passed away, Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at a Topeka nursing facility.
Margaret was born February 5, 1920 in Clay Center, Kansas the daughter of Carl and Ethel Christensen.
She was the assistant manager of Lords Flowers in Topeka for over 30 years.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Christensen. She married Robert Sloath in 1951. They were divorced. Survivors include:
one daughter, Sandi Gonzalez Topeka, KS
one granddaughter, Rachael Gonzalez Topeka, KS
and one sister, Betty Goodin Mesa, AZ
Margaret will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 27, at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church or to Heart of America Hospice. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
