Margaret L. "Peggy" Cooper, 92, Topeka, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013.
Peggy was born June 13, 1921 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Estelle Keller. She graduated from Paseo High School.
She was a member of First Congregational Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and an avid Bingo player.
Peg married Robert A. "Bob" Cooper on July 19, 1941. He died February 19, 2012. She is survived by children, Connie Mills, Dee Dee Clifton and husband Steve, Mitch Cooper and wife, Mary, all of Topeka; grandchildren, Courtney Clifton, Brett Clifton and wife, Rhiannon, Jason Mills and wife, April, and Max Cooper; and great grandchildren, Lauren, Ewan and Meagan Mills, Conner, Parker and Ella Clifton. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara; and brother, Bud Keller.
Private graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society.
