Margaret E. Faylor Miller Bennedict, 90, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012.
She was born on August 20, 1922 in Madison, KS, the daughter of Carl & Sadie Faylor.
Margaret graduated from Madison High School. She also attended secretarial classes in Topeka.
She worked for Whelen's and retired after 30 years of employment.
Margaret married James Miller on February 14, 1942; he preceded her in death on April 19, 1995. She later married Chester Bennedict on March 14, 1996 he also precedes her in death.
She was a member of Oakland Rebekah Lodge #616, Oakland Methodist Church United, and Lowman United Methodist Church. She was also an active member of the Masonic Grotto.
Margaret enjoyed spending time with her nieces and playing cards. She also loved socializing and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include, sister-in-laws, Ruth Miller and Willene Cole; step-daughter, Patty Robert Bevan; nieces, Kandee Filmore, Sadie Seaton, and Pennie Hufferd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Miller; husband, Chester Bennedict; and brother, John Faylor.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. A visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 6th & Gage.
