Marcia (Davidson) Manchester, 96, of Topeka, passed away on November 14, 2020.
She was born on April 26, 1924 in Topeka, the daughter of Russell and Gladys Frost. Marcia graduated from Topeka High School and later attended Washburn University where she received her Bachelor's in Social Work.
Marcia was employed by the State of Kansas for 40 years as a Social Worker.
In 1945 Marcia married Harley Davidson, he preceded her in 1969. Together Marcia and Harley had three children, Mark, Joel, and Diane.
Marcia married Richard Manchester in 1981.
She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and a member of the First Christian Church since the 1980's.
Marcia was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother who always worked hard to support her family. She deeply loved her family and they were her greatest joy in life along with her cat, Pansy.
Marcia is survived by her loving sons, Mark (Ruth) Davidson and Joel (Connie) Davidson; grandchildren, Julie (Micah) Salazar, Joel (Jessica) Davidson, Jamie Davidson, Jeanne (Austin) Thompson, Christopher (Carrie) Davidson, and Erica (Clay) Toomey; great-grandchildren, Joel, Maddie, Mal, and Joshua Salazar, Paige, Kai and Piper Davidson, Luke and Molly Thompson, and Caeden and Zander Toomey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley Davidson; husband, Richard Manchester; daughter, Diane Davidson; and sister, Letitia Frost Staebler.
Following Marcia's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will hold a private ceremony.
