Marcene M. Lesslie

Marcene Marie (Romig) Lesslie, 90, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022.

She was born January 2, 1932, in Alma, Kansas, the daughter of Wendell and Hilda (Bredow) Romig.

Marcene graduated from Topeka High School in 1950. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, of Topeka.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling, camping, and fishing.

Marcene married Orville Glenn Lesslie on August 5, 1950 in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Steven G. Lesslie on June 11, 2021.

Survivors include her daughter, Deb Lesslie (Randy Miller); sister, Janice Robison; four grandchildren, Rob Lawrence, Erik Schilling, Katelyn Peterson, Kyle Lesslie; step grandson, Jesse Miller; six great-grandchildren, Evelyn & Delaney Peterson, Lillian & Beau Lesslie, Juniper Schilling and Kellen Lawrence, two step great-grandchildren, Astrid and Joseph Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, followed by memorial services at 10:00 am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church. Inurnment will held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
