Louise Emma (Roloff) Kepfield, 84, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Aldersgate Village.
Louise was born November 21, 1924 in Atchison County, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Bubb) Roloff. She was raised in the Good Intent community.
She graduated from Atchison County Community High School and Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1945.
She was a Registered Nurse and worked for several nursing homes, retiring from Presbyterian Manor.
She married Fred C. Kepfield, II. They later divorced. Survivors include son, Fred C. Kepfield, III, Texas; daughter, Kathy A. Page, Tecumseh; four grandchildren; and sisters, Pearl Jensen, Everest, KS, Rosemary Albright, Yellville, AR, and Ruth Scholz, Raymore, MO. She was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Roloff, Henry M. Roloff; and sisters, Marie Kammer, Cora Elliston, and Grace Schrader.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Alderson Cemetery northwest of Atchison.
Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Hospice, 234 S. Kansas Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66603.
